Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 May 2026

By creating an account, you agree to these terms. This is the plain-language version; the legally binding meaning is what the words say, not what we hope you infer.

1. What Heardley is

Heardley is a hosted SaaS that surfaces Reddit threads relevant to your business and helps you draft replies. It does not auto-post to Reddit. Every reply requires your manual copy-paste. We are not affiliated with Reddit, Inc.

2. Eligibility

3. Your account

4. Pricing + payment

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Heardley to:

Violation can result in suspension or termination of access.

6. Your content

You own everything you put into Heardley (project descriptions, personas, draft replies, etc.). You grant Heardley a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you. We do not use your content to train models.

7. Our content

The Heardley dashboard, code, and brand are owned by the operator. The Reddit threads we surface are owned by their posters and Reddit. Heardley's relevance scores, why-it-matters summaries, and other generated outputs are produced for your use; you may use them freely within your business.

8. Uptime + outage credit

We target 99% monthly uptime. If a single calendar month falls below 95% uptime measured at our serverless host, monthly subscribers can request a one-month service credit by emailing support@heardley.com within 30 days. Planned maintenance windows (announced 48h in advance) don't count toward downtime.

9. Termination

10. Warranty disclaimer

Heardley is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that every thread we surface is relevant, that every draft reply is accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted. You are responsible for reviewing drafts before posting to Reddit.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Heardley's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$100. Heardley is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost revenue.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Heardley against claims arising from your content, your conduct on Reddit, or your breach of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes get a 30-day email notice to all active users. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in San Francisco County, California, except where local consumer-protection law gives you a non-waivable right to your own venue.
